The GeoInformation Group Headquarters
The GeoInformation Group was formed in 1998, through a management buy out by its two founders, Drs Seppe Cassettari and Alun Jones from its then owner Pearson PLC.
Seppe and Alun have nearly 50 years of combined experience in geographic information and mapping. In that time both have held senior positions in some of the UK’s most respected industry associations including the Association of Geographic Information (AGI) and The British Cartographic Society (BCS).
The company is based in Cambridge and is recognised as one of the UK’s leading providers of geographic information products and services under the Cities Revealed, UKMap and Training4GIS brands.
It has a record of delivering high quality innovative products backed by good service that has led to it being chosen by many respected organisations including; Vodafone, Google, T-Mobile, Autodesk, Thames Water, BAA, and Government organisations such as MOD, Metropolitan Police and Communities and Local Government along with 325 local authorities.
