London Fire Brigade
Problem:
London Fire needed to gain intelligence on risks that may be present in buildings across London to their operational fire fighters. Information such as building height and use was not available London-wide in a consistent and geographic format.
Solution:
UKMap with its building height and land use information provided a valuable database from which intelligence about fire fighter potential risk could be gathered. Additional information on residential properties above shops that may pose additional risks could also be identified.
Benefits:
London Fire are now better able to understand and map operational risks across London.
