London Borough of Harrow
Problem:
Old paper maps and poorly maintained grounds records were preventing the London Borough of Harrow from making savings through improvements in grounds maintenance scheduling and working conditions
Solution:
Our data records team scanned over 200 historical maps and transferred old grounds maintenance databases into one single seamless modern geographically referenced database. All the existing records were, in partnership with Harrow staff, checked and updated.
Benefits:
The new solution has improved working practices for Harrow staff by providing them with a unified database, saving staff time in locating records and scheduling staff movements. This new database can easily be maintained and updated by in house staff so saving future ongoing maintenance costs.
