Problem:
UKBroadband needed to update and improve its radio propogation 3G network across London.
Solution:
UKMap with its detailed mapping, land use and 3D building information provided the perfect base from which the planning tool could be optimised. A derived clutter map at 5m resolution was generated from UKMap to improve network modelling.
Benefits:
The revised clutter map improved UKBroadband’s routing decisions leading to a more robust network and a better, more consistent service to its customers.
